General Anaesthesia & Deep Sedation
Whether the clinic documents treatment under general anaesthesia or deep / twilight sedation — "sleep dentistry", where the patient is asleep and unaware (does not feel, see, or hear the procedure). Ordinary conscious sedation, where the patient stays awake and responsive, does not count here. This is informational and does not affect the transparency score.
- ✓ General anaesthesia / deep sedation (sleep dentistry) — General anaesthesia / deep sedation documented Dedicated service page: general anaesthesia offered, useful for dentophobia, children and lengthy procedures; team experienced treating severely damaged patients under general anaesthesia. Reputation & Reviews
8.5 / 20
Public review signals. The Google rating is adjusted with a Bayesian prior (rating 4.0, weight 25) so a 5.0 from a handful of reviews does not outrank a 4.8 from hundreds.

Change History
| Date | Change |
|---|---|
| 2026-09-29 | Checked TripAdvisor's own search and the clinic's website for a TripAdvisor profile: none found on either channel. The "3D-navigated dentistry" phrase noted earlier was not found on the about-us or contacts pages, so X-ray and CBCT stay unrecorded. |
| 2026-09-29 | Corrected 2026-09-29: review recency within a year (newest review dated 2026-05-07); red flag "No dentists identified anywhere" removed: it contradicted the recorded finding that the clinic names its dentists. |
| 2026-09-17 | Re-read on 2026-09-17: the clinic's Bulgarian-language price list, team page and contact page (the English site does not carry this detail), plus its Google listing. Corrected: a full price list is in fact published (cleaning, filling, crowns, implants and a priced routine exam), and three dentists are named with biographies on the team page — both previously recorded as not published. Recorded: aligner orthodontics offered; emergency care as a Google Business Profile category; no WhatsApp; opening hours to 19:00 on weekdays; Dentist/Organization structured data on the site. Google reviews show no signs of manipulation. Still unverified: TripAdvisor presence; on-site imaging equipment; whether the single 1-star review reflects a wider pattern. |
| 2026-09-07 | opaque_prices flag removed under methodology v1.4.0 (no evidence of bait/opacity; non-publication is scored by price criteria). |
| 2026-08-26 | Recorded sedation / general anaesthesia availability (informational): documented as available. Dedicated service page: general anaesthesia offered, useful for dentophobia, children and lengthy procedures; team experienced treating severely damaged patients under general anaesthesia. |
| 2026-08-26 | Deepen 2026-08-26: rechecked website/contacts/operating status (unchanged); added Google rating (4.2/15) and a WhatClinic listing as external sources; confirmed genuine general-anaesthesia offering (true) with a dedicated source page - a strong sedation-cohort finding; visibility scout 5 queries - not present in any; no uncited sources found to triage. |
| 2026-08-26 | License verification 2026-08-26 against IAMN/his.bg outpatient-care registry: no clinic registration identified for IG Dental under the variants tried; no named doctors on the clinic's site to check against BZS. |
| 2026-07-12 | Initial data collection. |
